On April 26, 2016, a letter with 234 signatories from across Ontario was sent to Premier Wynne and Minister Hoskins requesting the immediate establishment of leadership to coordinate collaborative planning and responses, including emergency preparedness plans and a clearly defined pathway for invoking emergency health/outbreak measures related to opioid overdoses.
